Certified School Nurse (PK-12) – Registered Nurse (RN)

Hours: 7AM - 2:30PM or 9AM - 4PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Mange medications and treatments
• Basic health screenings
• Manage communicable diseases
• Maintaining compliant medical records
• Develop care plans and execute care plans

Qualifications  

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• PK-12 School Nurse Certificate for school nursing roles. Not required for 1:1 cases
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days  
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
