Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Software Developer to coordinate with a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) to develop an updated custom production application, which provides workflow and research with the ability to review, disposition, build a profile, and update or nominate candidates to other partner organizations. This Customer provides state of the art systems on cloud and applications based on products such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle, Microsoft SharePoint, and other web-based solutions. This position is located in McLean, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support for implementation, design, and building enhancements.
• Perform long-term maintenance of a new application.
• Design and develop in a web environment.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design or customize software to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area.
• Perform testing, debugging, and quality assurance (QA).
• Implement a modern microservices-oriented, high-profile, missing-enabling application that is used daily.
• Periodically work on other systems or tasking, as assigned to support the Project Owner's Portfolio IT modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelors and 9 years or more experience; Masters 7 years or more experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing applications using SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Relational databases.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to use the React framework
• On-the-job experience with development in a cloud environment.
• Experience delivering solutions using cloud services.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Demonstrated experience with authentication and authorization (A&A) process.
• Experience with ETL of data.
• Knowledge of Data Analytics and Visualization.
• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI Dashboards

• Desired Skills:

• Experience with PostgreSQL database, Redis, and SQL.
• Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins.
• Ability to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to production systems to include troubleshooting.
• Experience in full stack development.
• Experience with REST services.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) related certifications or other certifications.
